Transportation Law
The common yellow school bus used to transport children to school.
The law regarding transportation of children to school was passed in 1919 by the United States government. This law was made so that all schools from every state in America were required to have a form of transportation for students to their schoolhouses. This law allowed more students to get an education, and made an efficient way for students that lived a long walking distance from school to get to the schoolhouse. At this time, school was not mandatory. For all students that did not have a parent to drop them off to school and did not want to make the effort to walk the distance, the transportation law was a new motivation to get them to go to school without much trouble.
